NEW SERIES: The Hermit’s Shelf ~ Dame Fortunes Wheel Tarot.

The Hermit’s Shelf, where older tarot decks rest, waiting to be heard again. This is the very first episode of a new weekly series, released every Sunday, where I revisit older tarot decks that no longer get the attention they deserve, often having to compete with the latest trends and constant new releases. With over 1,100 tarot decks in my collection, many of them have quietly moved to the shelf after their initial walkthrough. This series is about returning to those decks after real use, real time, and lived experience, and seeing what they have to say now. For this opening episode, I’m sharing Dame Fortune’s Wheel Tarot by Paul Huson, a deck deeply rooted in historical tarot tradition, rich symbolism, and an older voice that still carries weight and wisdom. This is a deck that rewards patience and familiarity, revealing more the longer you sit with it. In this episode, I’ll spend time with the deck’s imagery, atmosphere, and overall feel, reflecting on how it reads in practice and why it deserves to be taken down from The Hermit’s Shelf once more. Settle in, slow the pace, and join me as we let this deck speak again. #TheHermitsShelf #TarotCommunity #OlderTarotDecks #ClassicTarot #PaulHuson #DameFortunesWheel #TarotHistory #TarotCollectors #TarotTube #TarotDeckReview #VintageTarot #TarotWisdom #TheHermitsCave
