Canadian Musky Opener 2025 ( Early Season Success)

With musky opener every year comes many questions! will the fish be shallow, will they already be transitioned out on the breaks, will the weeds be up and of course how many fish will we move on day 1 of the season. This year Randy and myself signed up for the Muskies Canada Montreal Chapter Opening day tourney. With fishing hours being from 6am-9pm we knew if we went through the motions we would eventually come in contact with a few fish throughout the day. Little did we know how tough the bite would be and how little fish would be caught out of the 38 participants. We worked hard and managed a third place finish at the end of the day. Focusing in Quebec and Ontario, fishing from the boat, on the Ice as well as days on the bank in the most secluded to the most Urban spots Canada has to offer.
