Residents of Port Harcourt in Rivers State are facing a sharp increase in cooking gas prices following a reported shortage of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The cost of cooking gas has increased, moving from about ₦1,200 to ₦1,300 per kilogram to between ₦1,800 and ₦2,000 per kilogram.
