AI Isn't Replacing Developers

Check out Macroscope, I'm really liking this tool: https://jetty.to/macroscope So there have been a lot of layoffs lately citing AI as the reason. Block laid off 4,000 people and blamed AI. Snap cut 1,000. Oracle, 21,000. Cloudflare's CEO quite literally wrote an op-ed titled "How I Choose Which Cloudflare Employees to Replace With AI" after laying of 1,100 employees. And there are many more examples of this. But the fact that Cloudflare made their announcement on earnings, Block was insanely bloated from pandemic overhiring, and Snap just hasn't been doing well, and they all say these layoffs are because of AI?? Yea, that doesn't add up. So I went ahead and read the filings, the 10-Ks, the memos, the shareholder letters, the activist investor letter that showed up two weeks before Snap's layoffs, and everything else I possibly could. And my hunch appears to have been proven right, but I'll let y'all come to your own conclusions based on that info. A portion of this video is sponsored by Macroscope.
