New Government Primary School Building Inaugurated at Kewhitsütuo Model, Kohima | Dr. Kekhriehoulie Yhome The new Government Primary School building at Kewhitsütuo Model, Kohima, was inaugurated on July 17 by Advisor for School Education, Dr. Kekhriehoulie Yhome. Constructed by the Tsütuonuomia Khel Council on land donated by the Zatsu Clan, the new school marks a major milestone in strengthening educational infrastructure for the growing community. The programme included the unveiling of the school monolith, flagging off of a sanitation vehicle, speeches by dignitaries, cultural presentations, and an inaugural feast attended by government officials, community leaders, teachers, students, and residents. The school's foundation stone was laid on October 25, 2013, and the newly completed building was officially inaugurated on July 17, 2026.
