ശാസ്താ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിന്നും നരഹരി ഭഗവാൻ്റെ എഴുന്നള്ളത്ത് l Cheemeni Mundya l Kaliyattam l Cheemeni Sree Vishnumoorthy Kshetram l 2023 May 6 to May 16 l Kasargod District l Kerala State Cheemeni Sree Vishnumoorthi temple, also known as Cheemeni Mundya, is located at Cheruvathur – Cheemeni in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The temple is famous as Guruvayoor of North Kerala. The main deities worshipped in the temple are Bhagavan Vishnu in Narasimha Sankalpam and Sri Rakta Chamundeshwari. There is no Vigraha Pratishta in the temple. The Vishnumoorthi worshipped in the temple is Vishahari (one who cures all kinds of poison related problems). Bhajanam Irikkal is a unique observance here. People meditate in the temple for 3 or 5 or 7 days for physical and mental wellbeing. People also mediate here to find cure to skin diseases and also to cure poison related problems. Couples meditating here are blessed with healthy children. The darshanam of the temple is towards east. Puja is held only one time in a day. Pujas are performed by Maniyani community and the temple belongs to this community. This is a Yadava community who look after cows and buffalos. The main festival in the temple is held from Medam 21 to Edavam 1 (first and second week of June). The festival is famous for the Theyyams of Raktha Chamundi and Vishnumoorthy. നീലേശ്വരം രാജാവിന്റെ കല്പനയാൽ പാരമ്പര്യമായി പൊതാവൂരിലെ കിഴക്കേപ്പുറത്ത് അള്ളോടൻ ആചാരക്കാരാണ് ഇവിടുത്തെ കോലധാരികൾ.  ഭജനമിരിക്കൽ എന്ന പ്രത്യേക ചടങ്ങ് നടക്കുന്ന അപൂർവ്വം ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ്ചീമേനി മുണ്ട്യ.ശാരീരികവും മാനസികവുമായ സൌക്യത്തിനും ത്വക്ക് രോഗങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള പ്രതിവിധിയായും, വിഷബാധയ്ക്കുള്ള ആശ്വാസത്തിനും സന്താനലബ്ധിക്കും മറ്റ് ഉദ്ദിഷ്ടകാര്യങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാപ്തിക്കുമായി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ തന്നെ താമസിക്കുന്നു.  3,5,7 ദിവസങ്ങളായാണ് ഭജനമിരിക്കുന്നത്. അവസാനദിവസം അടിയന്തിര സമയത്ത് ക്ഷേത്രനടയിൽ നിന്നും മഞ്ഞൾ പ്രസാദം ഇളനീരിൽ ചേർത്ത് കഴിക്കുന്ന കട്ടിയിറക്കലോടെ ഭജനം അവസാനിക്കുന്നു.
