I INSTALLED A NEW BMW AIRHEAD CLUTCH

After undergoing a complete engine rebuild, this 51-year-old BMW airhead truly deserves a fresh clutch assembly. Upon inspecting the worn components, it's evident that a replacement was necessary, as the old clutch was 2mm below the factory specifications. The deficiency could lead to clutch slippage and excessive heat in the clutch area, issues I'd prefer to avoid in the near future. To address this, I've acquired a new BMW clutch kit assembly from EME, which serves as an upgrade from the original parts. The kit includes four essential parts: the Clutch Plate, Clutch Ring (Cover Plate), Pressure Plate, and Clutch Diaphragm Spring. All these elements will be fastened to the flywheel using six new Allen head bolts. With these improvements, I anticipate that the clutch assembly will hold up for another lifetime!
