Ablaze Youth Choir talks about going viral, new album releasing this summer

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A popular youth choir in Baton Rouge is filling the pews and gaining attention on all streaming platforms. Choir Director Mark Ellis Jr. decided to restart the Ablaze Youth Choir after the pandemic. This brought fresh energy and excitement to the church. Since the rebirth, the music group has grown from 25 members to over 80. “My dad’s the pastor of United Faith Christian Faith Ministries; I said I’m so ready to start back the choir. I want to sing in the choir again, and even if I have to direct, I’ll do it. And he said, ‘You know what, son, go for it,'” said Ellis. FULL STORY: https://www.louisianafirstnews.com/news/lo...
