When the Hour Has Come - John 17:1-5

As Jesus approaches the cross, He lifts His eyes toward heaven and prays. John 17 records what is commonly known as the High Priestly Prayer of Jesus. While many people refer to Matthew 6 as "The Lord's Prayer," that passage teaches us how to pray. John 17 allows us to hear Jesus Himself praying as He prepares to accomplish the work the Father gave Him to do.
