Lallanji decides to buy Onions so that he can impress his Boss Mishra but Suttilal disagrees to give him. Lallanji is asking for Onions all over Lapataganj. Will Lallanji get promotion? The show will yet again portray the everyday ailments in the life of the common man - in a very common setup of a typical fictionalised Indian village Lapataganj. The story proceeds with a leap of 5 years but much like the previous season the people of Lapataganj struggle daily for basic facilities yet residing there happily. "
