Battle Creek to Chicago on CN Railway

Caught out on the old Grand Elk line to Battle Creek and spent two days camped on the pine needles under the pine trees then caught this chemical industry train to Chicago. We didn't go south at Matteson Interchange like I thought we would and ended up going to the Kirk Yard outside Gary, Indiana. I didn't know Chicago could be so dark at night! Took me about a two hour walk to the East Chicago Metra Station with my flashlight shining 90% of the way.....lol!
