S01 - Episode 09. Mend It Mark - The Electronic Repairer & YouTuber
In this episode we have a proper treat for you as we're chatting to one of our favourite YouTubers - Mend It Mark. Mark shares his journey from being a ‘young nerd' fascinated by electronics - to becoming a professional repair technician and YouTuber. We discuss the evolution of repair culture, the challenges posed by modern electronics design and learn his patented three-step repair process. We also touch on how software has fundamentally changed product design, (often making repairs more difficult), and the importance of teaching others repair skills. Mark also shares his personal and professional journey of transitioning from a corporate industrial engineer to full-time YouTube content creator. --- NOTE FROM IGNYS Hey – thanks for watching!
