WOWT 6 Omaha - Calendar of Events and Sign Off (4-18-1980)

Two commercials for Brandeis and Roll-A-Matic sponge mop precedes the station's "Calendar of Events", set against filmed scenes of kite flying at Mid-town Omaha's Memorial Park, with the music in the background of Alan Parker's "Happy Guitar" piece. A cool green neon station ID, Future Farmers of America performing "The Star Spangled Banner" film, 1965 Seal of Good Practice slide, along with Dale Munson's voiceover round out this terrific sign-off. And at the very end of the clip, after the station cuts the juice, is a bit of an audio bleed of Bob Seger's "Rock and Roll Never Forgets" which I'm very sure came from KEZO-FM (Z-92).
