La RIVOLUZIONE AMERICANA

► SUBSCRIBE HERE: https://steadyhq.com/it/lastoriasultu... In 1700, the 13 English colonies in North America were a mosaic of diverse founding histories and governing systems. Some were "charter colonies," managed by trading companies, while others were "proprietor colonies," with property rights vested in private individuals. Some were "royal colonies," dependent on the British monarchy. This diversity was reflected in the colonies' complex social dynamics, characterized by social mobility, European influences, slavery, and Puritan morality. Meanwhile, rivalry between France and England for control of the colonies fueled tensions. Conflict between the colonies and the British central power grew, with local legislatures increasingly demanding self-government. This conflict culminated in the struggle for independence. From their official inception, the 13 colonies had consistently demonstrated loyalty to the British crown throughout its expansion across the American continent. But over time, exasperation with a system deemed unjust can lead even the gentlest man to wicked acts. How many taxes can a man be forced to pay before rebelling? The American Revolution begins. The British Empire had immediately maintained a monopoly over its colonies, especially the richest ones. These taxes, taken individually, would not have led to any kind of widespread dissent, but, enacted in such a short period of time, they exasperated the American colonists. On December 16, 1773, in Boston, the center of anti-British protest, a group of colonists disguised as natives attacked three Company ships loaded with tea: it was the Boston Tea Party. On May 10, 1775, the Second Continental Congress was recalled to Philadelphia, and while the first could still be considered "loyal" to the British Empire, the second laid the foundations for something new, revolutionary. One of the first acts of Congress was to establish the Continental Army on June 14, 1775. Minutemen and militiamen were incorporated into a full-fledged army. This new force was led by a Virginia landowner and veteran of the Seven Years' War: George Washington. Also during the Second Continental Congress, on July 4, 1776, a unique document was officially signed: the Declaration of Independence. On September 3, 1783, the Treaty of Paris was signed by both sides at the Hotel de York: Great Britain accepted defeat, and the 13 colonies were freed. At the same time, to end the international war that had broken out, the Treaty of Versailles was signed: it specified all the territorial changes between the great powers and the international borders of the newly formed United States. ► Discord Server:   / discord   ► Instagram (@lastoriasultubo):   / lastoriasul…   ► TikTok (@lastoriasultubo): https://vm.tiktok.com/ZM8tS7YR1/ ► Facebook:   / lastoriasultubo   ==================================== 00:00 - The 13 English Colonies 03:37 - Differences Between the Colonies 04:34 - Rivalry between France and England 05:14 - Social Dynamics: Natives vs. Colonists 06:06 - Economic Focus 07:17 - Self-Government and Conflict 8:45 AM - Royal Proclamation and Taxes 12:50 PM - Boston Tea Party 1:50 PM - Coercive Acts and the First Continental Congress 3:47 PM - Lexington and the Beginning of the War of Independence 4:58 PM - Second Continental Congress 7:05 PM - The War from Saratoga to Yorktown 9:58 PM - Treaties of Versailles and Paris 11:59 PM - US Politics and Federalism 10:22 PM - First Presidents and the Ten Amendments 10:32 PM - The Northwest Ordinance ============================================ A Specter Film Collective production www.specterfilmcollective.com STARRING: Francesco Furesi, Pietro Iacopo Benzi ARTISTIC DIRECTOR: Francesco Furesi SCREENPLAY: Pietro Iacopo Benzi, Francesco Furesi HISTORY CONTENT: Pietro Iacopo Benzi PHOTOGRAPHY: Alessandro Panzeri LIVE AUDIO: Edoardo Conti EDITING: Francesco Furesi MOTION DESIGN: Francesco Furesi, Mattia Rossetti STOCK FOOTAGE: Pietro Iacopo Benzi COVER: Edoardo Conti SOUND DESIGN & MIX: Andrea Romani PRODUCTION: Caterina Scalfi SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER: Fulvio Matera
