Father, Let Me Hear Your Voice Above All Others | Morning Prayer

In today's morning prayer and devotional, we are asking the Lord to open our ears so that we can hear His voice clearly above every other voice competing for our attention. The Bible declares in Romans 10:17 that faith comes from hearing and hearing through the word of Christ which means that what we allow into our ears is directly shaping our faith. The world is filled with loud voices designed to pull us toward the flesh, toward pleasure, and away from God. But as believers, we are called to be quick to hear the word of God, to pursue the voice of the Holy Spirit, and to train our ears to recognise the voice of our shepherd. God still speaks today through His word, through His Spirit, and through a still small voice that meets us right where we are.
