Chordplay - The Chords Of Danzig

Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Chordplay with The Chords Of Danzig. Glenn Danzig's namesake band formed in New Jersey in 1987, which followed his other successful projects - the horror-punk of Misfits and the gothic punk-metal of Samhain. Danzig (the band) originally featured a unique "doom blues" or "devil blues" feel/sound, which was the combination of Glenn's distinct baritone vocals combined with the heavy blues-inspired riffs coming from the original guitarist for the group - the legendary John Christ. The band exploded in popularity in the early/mid-1990s and has continued to create music and tour to this day. The music featured in this episode came from Danzig's first two albums and includes sections from songs such as Twist Of Cain, Soul On Fire, Am I Demon, Her Black Wings, Killer Wolf, Not Of This World, and Possession (to name a few).
