From July 16 to 18, 2025, my wife and I took a 3-day, 2-night trip to Tongyeong. After flying from Gimpo Airport to Gimhae Airport, we headed to Tongyeong using a Socar. On the way, we enjoyed the start of our trip by touring the representative attractions of Geoje. 📍 Day 1 ✈️ Gimpo Airport → Gimhae Airport 🚗 Socar Rental 🌉 Geoga Bridge 🌊 Mongdol Beach 🌬️ Hill of Wind 🍯 Tongyeong Central Market Honey Bread 🎨 Dongpirang Mural Village 🍙 Chungmu Gimbap 🏨 Tongyeong Marina Bay Hotel 🏖️ Ocean Swimming 🐟 Dinner On the second day, we started the day with an early morning jog. 📍 Day 2 🏃 Morning Run 🚡 Tongyeong Cable Car ⛰️ Mt. Mireuk Summit ☁️ Cable Car Experience in Fog and Strong Winds 🌳 Yi Sun-sin Park ⚓ Samdo Naval Command Headquarters Historic Site 🏯 Sebyeonggwan 🐢 Viewing the Turtle Ship 🎨 Nighttime Dipirang in Heavy Rain Although I had hoped for a clear view, the scenery of Mt. Mireuk, with its strong winds and thick clouds making it feel like walking through a bowl of beef bone soup, became a unique memory. On the last day, we enjoyed a morning run once again, spent some relaxing time at our accommodation, and then headed to Gimhae Airport to wrap up the trip. 📍 Day 3 🏃 Morning Run ☕ Relaxing time at the accommodation ✈️ Transfer to Gimhae Airport 🚗 Return rental car 🍚 Wrapping up the trip at a restaurant near home It was a trip to Tongyeong where the time spent walking, eating, and resting together was better than the sightseeing itself.
