Hexagon quilting - an update on our hexagon quilt - by ARNE & CARLOS

This Sunday we finally have an update on our hexagon quilting project. We bought some amazing handkerchiefs, with some unique embroidery patterns, on our trip to England when we visited Kate ‪@thelasthomelyhouse‬   and walked the Hadrian wall. These handkerchiefs will now be added to our hexagon quilting project, with the hexagons we received from Kate. Arne demonstrates how we will cut and sew the handkerchiefs onto hexagons and we are aiming for a balanced and symmetrical appearance. Carlos shares his plans for a new quilt inspired by Liberty fabric samples he obtained. We also show you how to remove the hexagon paper templates and try out different potential combinations of fabrics.
