BRS KURUMI - Showcasing its Characteristics BRS Kurumi is short in stature and has a high nutritional value. It is a perennial crop, recommended for grazing or cutting, and boasts vigorous vegetative growth, rapid leaf expansion, and intense basal and axillary tillering. Regarding production potential, it stands out for its high forage production potential (approximately 30 t/ha/year of DM) and high nutritional value (18 to 20% crude protein and digestibility between 68 and 70%). Furthermore, it has a high leaf-to-stem ratio and, due to its short stature, is easy to manage. This cultivar is preferably used in pasture, in rotational grazing systems, but can also be used green chopped or in silage, in which case it has a lower yield compared to BRS Capiaçu. Regarding cattle poisoning, BRS Kurumi forage does not contain components that can cause poisoning in animals, therefore, it can be offered without restrictions. Planting should be done in well-drained, fertile soils. To obtain good bud set, the stalks must be mature, that is, more than 100 days of regrowth or growth. To produce a When planting seedlings in a nursery, plant spacing should be 1 x 1, ensuring little competition and increased tillering. The yield is 1 hectare of seedlings if planted on 4 to 5 hectares, assuming this is a commercial crop and the stalks are arranged in furrows at a spacing of 40 to 50 cm. The multiplication rate can be increased by dividing the stalks into smaller pieces with 1 to 2 buds and planting them in plastic cups, tubes, or plastic seedling bags. After sprouting in these compartments, the seedlings are transplanted into the field in their final location. The recommended spacing for final planting is 50 to 80 cm between rows and a furrow depth of 20 cm. Here at Chácara Esperança, the spacing between rows is 80 cm. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🔻 RECOMMENDED VIDEOS 🔻 👉 SHOWING BRS CAPIAÇU DO SÍTIO SANTA MARIA ➡️ • MOSTRANDO O BRS CAPIAÇU DO SÍTIO SANTA MARIA -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ✅ Want to improve your skills or learn from scratch how to be an agricultural machinery operator? 🔻🔻 CLICK HERE TO LEARN ABOUT THE COURSE 🔻🔻 ➡️ https://bit.ly/curso-do-Jardulli -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 👉 OUR WHATSAPP: +55 (18) 981093346 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🔻⬇FOLLOW OUR SOCIAL MEDIA⬇🔻 📲 Instagram: @godoagro 👉🏼 Facebook: @godoagro 💻 Email: [email protected]
