New 2025 Honda Freed - Spacious Mini Hybrid MPV

The all-new Honda Freed compact MPV has been officially launched in Singapore, with prices ranging from 161,099 to 166,099 singapore dollar. The vehicle is offered in two variants: the HS7 and the HE7. The new generation of the Honda Freed measures 4,310 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width, and 1,755 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,740 mm. In terms of design, the MPV seems to draw inspiration from the second-generation Crossroad, featuring a more boxy appearance. The previous model's sloped bonnet has been replaced with a flatter one, and the front end now presents a more upright stance. This new look includes trapezoidal-shaped headlamps, with two dotted lines above the main lights serving as daytime running lights. The "grille" between the headlamps is closed off, positioned above small air intake slits and a larger opening in the lower apron. On the sides, bold creases extend from the tips of the headlamps, running through the door handles and into the rails of the sliding rear doors. Additional creases can be seen around the wheel arches, enhancing the vehicle's dynamic look. At the rear, the previous two-piece taillights that extended into the tailgate have been replaced with vertically-oriented clusters featuring a bold, pixelated design. Inside the new Honda Freed, there is a familiar six-seat layout, featuring a flip-up third-row for added flexibility. The extensive redesign continues inside, where the interior features a new dashboard inspired by the latest N-Box. The previous model's high-mounted instrument cluster has been replaced with a digital display positioned in front of a two-spoke steering wheel. Inside, a large fabric-covered trim piece wraps around the central infotainment touchscreen, with a section on the passenger side designed as an additional storage compartment large enough to hold a tissue box. Honda has designed the fabric in the cabin to be water- and oil-resistant, which is particularly useful for families with young children. The air vents, previously located on either side of the infotainment screen, are now positioned together beneath it. Like the previous Freed, the vehicle controls are placed higher up and within easy reach of the driver, maximizing space below for easier movement between the front seats. Additionally, the innovative shelf with storage cubbies makes a return in this model. The MPV arrives in Singapore featuring a hybrid powertrain, which includes a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine generating 130bhp and 253Nm of torque. This engine enables the compact MPV to achieve an impressive fuel efficiency of 20km/L.
