We made this video together with the Rett Syndrome Association to raise awareness of this rare disease. Rett syndrome is a congenital disorder with neurological involvement that most often affects females. The disease, which is not evident at birth, generally manifests during the second year of life, and in all cases before the age of 4. It affects approximately 1 in every 10,000 children. Severe delays in language acquisition and motor coordination, as well as severe or severe mental retardation, may be observed.
