Talking to one who won't listen

The Christian protesters at the G.A.C. were a troupe of extremely confrontational zealots who usually board city buses to preach to passengers who can't escape. They have all demonstrated that they have no knowledge of anything at all, but they do have one talent; the ability to ignore whatever they dare not acknowledge. This boy demonstrates that very well. I don't know what his real name is, so I'll just refer to him as thick Thicky Thickman from Thicktown, Thickania. BTW, there is a moment when I made fun of his accent. That was a very dickish thing to do and I'm sorry about that. It was just so irritating when I told him that the serpent couldn't be Satan because it was depicted as a girl. Rather than consider that the serpent might not be Satan, he assumed that Satan must be a girl. Confirmation bias of the highest order -next to Eric Hovind's ilk that is.
