Bolivia is a great example of disguised harmony - there's an underlying foundation harmonic progression that is reharmonised and disguised by Cedar Walton. It's essential to understand not only the foundation harmony, but also the theory behind the reharmonisation to improvise fluently on this great standard. In this video, we break down and analyse the structure, harmony and melody of Bolivia, making it easier to learn and remember.
