Pakt für Verkehrssicherheit | Fraunhofer IVI Accident Prevention School

How can accident risks be made tangible for young people? The Fraunhofer IVI Accident Prevention School (FAPS) combines real, anonymized accident data from the school environment with digital learning formats and virtual reality. Students analyze typical accident scenarios on their routes to school and experience dangerous situations – such as blind spots – from different perspectives. This helps young people aged 13 to 16 learn to recognize risks early, adapt their own behavior, and anticipate the mistakes of other road users. FAPS is being implemented in Saxony, Brandenburg, and Berlin, among other regions. More information about the project: https://www.dvr.de/pakt-fuer-verkehrs...
