Bali, an Indonesian island renowned for its natural beauty and culture, has a long history rich in traditions and influences from various civilizations. Early evidence of this civilization can be seen in ancient inscriptions and temples such as Goa Gajah and Gunung Kawi. From the 9th to 14th centuries, Bali was under the rule of Hindu-Javanese kingdoms such as the Majapahit Empire, which had a significant influence on Balinese art, customs, and social structure. After the fall of Majapahit, Bali became the center of Hindu civilization in Indonesia.
