They are quite similar but swallow nest is a lot bigger. In this paint along we can explore technique of dropping watercolor for the nest. I simplified the bird to create a more pleasing painting. Here is a list of the colors I used in this painting. I think it can be beneficial if you can watch the video once, and then maybe try painting along. Then your mind will have a general idea when the different colors are used. My green mix, the different green of the bird are in this mix too. (Indigo, prylene green, sap green, cadm green light and cadm green medium) Body of the bird is mainly sap green and prylene green. Dioxizine purple (or any blue purple you can find), Quin Burnt orange or burnt sienna if you don't have burnt orange. Sepia, Burnt umber, Payne's gray, and lamp black or any dark black.
