KOMPAS.TV - The Medan District Court, North Sumatra, acquitted creative worker and videographer Amsal Sitepu of corruption charges. The Chief Judge of the Medan District Court, Mohammad Yusafrihardi Girsang, who presided over the case, stated that Amsal was not legally proven guilty of committing the crime as charged by the public prosecutor. The panel of judges also requested the restoration of the defendant's rights and dignity. After being acquitted, Amsal, who wept with emotion, stated that this verdict was a victory for all creative workers.
