Beginning as a student of law and eventually finding her passion in sociology, Dr. Zelizer now works studying the changing value of a child stemming from her research in life insurance which served to “price life.” Viviana Zelizer gives her advice to young students in her own field and those outside of sociology who are trying to find what they want to study.
