As a certain Bruno Mainetto used to say, if the chandelier shines in the corners, it means it shines in the whole house. Obviously, we're heavily dependent on the first team, so the performances of the first team then influence everything below, but I believe we have a fairly consolidated structure there too. Sometimes sporting results are determined by events we can't control. Below the first team, the youth teams must follow a path that's a bit different, a bit unique, but I believe the conditions are in place to do things well. We must never forget the spirit that has distinguished this club from its inception to the present day, which is an interdisciplinary approach: the name was Genoa Cricket and Athletic Club, in a spirit of sharing and a very deep connection with the local area.
