The Unforeseen Challenge: Conquer the Pinnacle Fire Trail from Sunny Corner to Capertee

Nick & I take my dog Nugget on The Pinnacle Fire Trail from Sunny Corner to Capertee in adverse weather making wheels slip and every hill a serious challenge even in capable 4WD's - only 2 hours from Sydney! We camp by the water followed by a picture perfect second night on mountain in the clouds. Winching, track building, river crossings, punctured tyres and vehicle maintenance, this is what overlanding in Australia is really like. I'm in my V6 Amarok, Nick is in his 76 Series Land Cruiser.
