Growing Pomegranate Fruit in South Florida

You may have seen Pomegranate fruit in the local supermarket and think because it is a red ball and looks like a Christmas tree ointment they sell it at this time, but the real reason is because it comes in season and ripens at the same time as the winter holiday season. It is a winter fruit for sure and growing Pomegranate in Tropical South Florida seems weird, in fact, most varieties won't grow in a warm climate because they need a certain amount of chill hours to have fruit, but there is one variety that thrives in Tropical South Florida and in this video, I'm going to talk about it.
