What I Learned From Growing Up Gay in Puerto Rico

There’s a lot of sexism and homophobia in Puerto Rican culture whether or not people like to admit it. Facing these things as a gay boy often resulted in me turning to pop culture and TV for escapism. It also heavily influenced my decision to move.
