Kanupriya Shankar Pandit / रंगमंच से बॉलीवुड तक

A trained actor and a passionate exponent of theatre for children and youth. Kanupriya Pandit is the daughter of famous writer ”Ushakiran Khan”, who was honoured with the ‘Padma Shri’ in 2015. At the age of just 6, she started doing plays and dramas at Bal Rangmandal, Patna. She was also the part of the National School of Drama, New Delhi. After graduation, Kanupriya started working as a full-time theatre artist and did numerous plays. In 2012, she founded a theatre company ‘Killol Kala Academy.’ She has worked in two languages, Hindi and Maithili. Kanupriya has done several famous Hindi TV serials like ‘Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan’ (2015-2016), ‘Half Marriage’ (2017-2018), etc. She also played the role of Alia Bhatt‘s mother in the Bollywood hit film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ (2017).
