Lessive Poudre et Liquide Maison
It's so easy to make your own laundry detergent! And it's good for the environment and your savings... Laundry detergents contain petrochemical surfactants, phosphates, modified enzymes, optical brighteners, synthetic perfumes and dyes... with 40 kg of laundry detergent per family per year, the consequences of these products in our wastewater are disastrous. Chemical residues from laundry detergents are the cause of serious pollution of our freshwater supplies, damaging aquatic flora and fauna and threatening the balance of ecosystems. You'll find more information on the ingredients used in the laundry detergent formulas in this video in my blog post, as well as the printable recipes! https://mimagusta.com/blog/allez-on-f... Homemade powder detergent: I use it for sheets, pillowcases, napkins and towels, work clothes, and jeans... The powder is well-suited to these materials. I use American measurements, which I find more practical and faster. But I'm indicating the corresponding weight.... Ingredients: 1.5 cups of sodium bicarbonate, or 350 g 1.5 cups of washing soda, or 180 g 0.5 cups of Epsom salts, or 100 g 2 tablespoons of table salt, or 20 g Essential oils for fragrance if desired.... Materials: A glass jar of the appropriate size A household scale for weighing A laundry detergent scoop Preparation: Put all the ingredients in the glass jar, Close it, Mix. It's ready! Use like regular laundry detergent... Tip: If you want a whitening effect, add 1 tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate to the washing machine drum. I don't add fragrance because I find it overstimulates our senses. Laundry smells fresh and clean... Homemade liquid laundry detergent: Made with Marseille soap, this detergent is suitable for more delicate fabrics, women's underwear, sweaters and blouses, shirts, etc. Ingredients: 1.5 L of spring water 60 g of Marseille soap flakes 40 g of washing soda crystals 2 tablespoons of baking soda Essential oils for fragrance if desired... (Sweet orange 8 g + Yellow mandarin 2 g, for example) Equipment: A saucepan + a spatula Scales for weighing A plastic container from the previous wash An immersion blender Preparation: Heat the water. Before boiling, turn off the heat and add the Marseille soap flakes. Dissolve them using the spatula while stirring. Let cool completely. The mixture will set. This is normal. Using an immersion blender, blend the mixture, adding the washing soda and baking soda. The mixture should be smooth. Transfer it to the container and it's ready! Shake the mixture before use. Use like regular liquid laundry detergent. Tip: If you want a whitening effect, add 1 tablespoon of sodium percarbonate to the drum. Storage: 6 months Happy preparation!
