In this video, we test the Facom OGV GRIP series on screws that typically end up cutting or drilling. The OGV GRIP profile transfers torque to the walls of the head instead of its edges – according to Facom, it grips both good and fully machined screws. In the video, we demonstrate: OGV GRIP sockets and open-end wrenches on fully machined hexagonal screws – in direct comparison with standard sockets, unscrewing machined internal sockets using Allen screws as an example, working with extractors on damaged studs, including pre-drilling with a conical drill bit.
