The second Vintage Garage episode sees me driving the Fiat 1100 Super Select, one among the only three options Indian buyers had, back in the 60s. Even though this Fiat 1100 Super Select might look similar to the Premier Padmini, the differences are many. The Fiat 1100 gets powered by a 1100cc engine, hence the name 1100, producing only 37hp. While that may seem too few, Fiat 1100’s lighter overall weight ensures even that little power output provides a strong mid-range pull.
