[Cast] Herbie Yamaguchi, Kundo Koyama About: Herbie Yamaguchi After graduating from university, he lived in London for 10 years, starting in 1973. His photographs consistently focus on the theme of "hope in life," and his style of snapshot portraits of everyday people has garnered support from artists both in Japan and abroad, reaching people of all ages. In addition to photography, he writes essays and is a radio personality (a 12:35 PM segment on Inter FM every Friday, and a regular appearance on "Shibuya no Radio" every second Tuesday of the month from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM). He has also written lyrics for several songs on guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei's albums. About: Kundo Koyama Broadcast writer and screenwriter. Born in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1964. He began his career as a broadcast writer while studying Broadcasting at Nihon University College of Art. He has planned many innovative television programs, including "Iron Chef" and "The Humiliation of Canossa." His film "Departures" won the Best Original Screenplay award at the 32nd Japan Academy Awards and the Best Foreign Language Film award at the 81st Academy Awards. In addition to his writing career, he is also the vice president of Kyoto University of Arts, a project advisor for local communities and businesses, the owner of Shimogamo Saryo, and the thematic project producer for the 2015 World Exposition in Japan.
