Warning Light Drama For Our K11 Micra BUT Is Dad Worried?

NOT What We Were Expecting From Our K11 Micra Project Today On the way home from car show Rustival 2 our freshly revived K11 Nissan Micra decided to throw up a bright orange EML warning light. In this video Dad and I scan the car using the Kingbolen Fault Scanner, diagnose the fault and try to fix it. Sadly we are unable to fix it completely in this video BUT it did diagnose that there was an Oxygen Sensor fault - causing the light to come on. Thankfully the car still runs and drives as it should do. [00:00] - Introduction: Why Is The EML on? [01:28] - Initial Diagnosis: Hooking up the Kingbolen S800 [04:17] - Fault Codes P0141 (Oxygen sensor heater circuit) and P0137 (Oxygen sensor circuit low voltage), both for Bank 1 Sensor 2. [05:08] - Tool Comparison: Testing a cheaper £20 OBD tool [06:48] - Live Data Analysis [08:53] - Sensor 1 is shown switching correctly between 0.1 and 0.8 volts. [09:10] - Sensor 2 (the downstream sensor) is showing abnormal, stagnant readings. [10:18] - Wiring Check [12:03] - Searching for Spares [15:34] - The Role of the Sensor [17:13] - Hitting a Snag [18:42] - Conclusion I’d also love it if you could subscribe to the channel – this makes sure you don’t miss anything new:    / @joncoupland   You can now become a member to get access to special perks and help support us and the channel for just £1.99 a month:    / @joncoupland
