¿Los fósiles inspiraron la mitología griega? | Archivo mitológico |

⚠️‼️ IMPORTANT ⚠️‼️ Part of this video has been debunked. In particular, the part about the relationship between griffins and dinosaurs (protoceratops). An article in Interdisciplinary Science Reviews took a closer look at Mayor's arguments about how myth and dinosaurs are related and concludes that it is highly unlikely (practically impossible) that protoceratops remains inspired the form of the mythological beast. Here is the DOI of the article for those of you more interested in the subject: https://doi.org/10.1177/0308018824125... Mythology is full of fantastic stories, and some of them may have been inspired by fossil discoveries during ancient times. Sources: Mayor, A.
