(I tweet about things unrelated to the videos.) 　  / h1de_maru   Docking by yourself can be difficult until you get used to it. It's especially difficult at facilities without booms, such as fishing ports. You have to worry about getting the anchor rope tangled, or getting blown away by the wind... Or maybe you just don't have enough space. It happens all the time, right? I came up with three ideas this time. ◎First Attach a giant fender to the anchor rope. There are terms of use, so please check with the fishing association or marina management agency for installation. I'll include an Amazon link at the end of the description. ◎Second Install a bottom sheet. The bottom sheet I use from Hirotani Shoten has a frame, so it helps you secure your own space and prevent drifting sideways. It's originally meant to prevent barnacles from attaching to the bottom of the boat, but it's also very convenient because it shows your boat's position. Please let them know you saw the YouTube video "Hidemaru"! However, installing a bottom sheet will cause the anode to dissolve more quickly, so be sure to inspect it as soon as possible. Third Tip Try changing the order in which you remove the mooring rods. Park the center of the boat first. Park the front and rear of the boat second and third. This will help prevent rotation at least a little. (It's difficult to completely stop the boat, though.)
