In this video, I leave Daegu and take a quieter mountain route toward Miryang, South Korea. Along the way, I find peaceful countryside roads, spring flowers, small towns, local food, and one of the most unexpected encounters I’ve had in Korea. While cycling through the mountains, I randomly come across an artist’s studio in the middle of nowhere. The artist welcomes me inside, shows me his incredible work, and even gives me a signed book as a gift. This is exactly why I love traveling by bicycle in Korea.
