The main character is a female student from Japan, Hana. While concerning about communication in English at the University and her career in academia in the future, she enrolled Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) to pursue her curiosity and interest in science. During her PhD journey, she hits the wall in her research while her lab mate publishing the paper and her roommate getting married, pregnant, having a child and successfully performing as a PhD student. How does she find a breakthrough and achieve her goal with her passion towards science?
