Launching the Basic Needs Project: Transforming Lives for Caregivers in Uganda
At Embrace International Foundation Uganda, we believe that when caregivers are empowered, children with disabilities are given a greater opportunity to thrive. We are excited to officially launch the Basic Needs Project in partnership with Change for Children Canada, an initiative designed to strengthen the livelihoods of caregivers of children with disabilities across Kasese, Bunyangabu, and Kabarole districts in Western Uganda. Through this project, we will support 60 households and work with 15 schools to help ensure that children with disabilities can access education, proper nutrition, and essential healthcare services. By improving household incomes and strengthening family resilience, we are addressing some of the key barriers that prevent children from reaching their full potential. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to disability inclusion, community empowerment, and creating sustainable opportunities for families. Together, we are investing in a future where children with disabilities are not left behind because of poverty, stigma, or limited access to basic needs. A special thank you to Change for Children Canada for partnering with us on this important journey. We look forward to sharing stories, lessons, and impact as the project unfolds. #EmbraceUganda #ChangeForChildren #DisabilityInclusion #InclusiveEducation #EmpoweringCaregivers #ChildrenWithDisabilities #CommunityDevelopment #Uganda #Livelihoods #EducationForAll #SocialImpact
