How we bought land in Costa Rica (and you can too)

Given the state of America, many people are thinking of leaving, but have no clue where to start. I didn’t either when I first came to Costa Rica, but after going through the entire process, I understand how it works intimately. In this video, I run down all the basics. You will need to know if you would like to purchase property in Costa Rica. Here are some key points: non-citizens have no legal rights in Costa Rica, you will need to form a corporation to buy property - you will need a lawyer to do this, but she must be wary of lawyers in Costa Rica Costa Rica is a cash market, financing is not really a thing -you must understand water rights and digital plots this is a Spanish-speaking country and all legal documents are in Spanish no license is required to buy or sell real estate so anybody can be an “real estate agent” -things move slower here than America and it can be frustrating -the easiest path to residency is via investment which requires $150,000 expenditure  Buying property here is definitely a process, but I found it to be one of the most worthwhile things I’ve ever done for me and my family.
