Counterfeit USB drives are being sold, where the capacity stated on the packaging and body does not correspond to the real capacity. Commonly, sellers are passing off fake memory cards with lower capacity to their customers. Some manufacturers of fake memory are creating programs that deceive operating systems, showing a greater capacity than they actually support. They sell a USB drive claiming to be 32GB, for example, and in reality, internally it has less capacity, 16GB, 8GB, or sometimes none at all. In fact, this scam has been going on for over a decade in the computer market, occurring with MicroSD cards, SSDs, RAM, HDDs, SSDs, etc. In this 3rd tutorial, we will test the real memory capacity with a specific program already used in previous videos on the channel. Let's correctly format the memory unit using another specific program to be able to use its real capacity and try to reuse the storage unit.
