It's been a week since my surgery and I finally adventured out to the shed to nose around. Surely I could manage the small job of finishing the trapdoor ladder I started pre-op. It took me three days to get it done, but get it done I did. The doctor said "Doon't strain yerself Brian" (though not in an Irish-mammy accent).
