St. Osyth Sunday Market operating as a general market for over 40 years...every summer season...also wednesday in school summer holidays. Situated behind The Sailor Boy Pub at Hutleys Caravan Park St. Osyth Beach is a Fantastic Essex, Sunday Market and during August there is also a Fun Fair. There is so much to do, with Amusements, Pub, Restaurant, Fish and Chips. The Market is open every Sunday from Easter to the end of October every year, and also opens every Wednesday during the Summer Holidays. The Market has everything, lots of stalls selling everything you can imagine. Right on the seafront at St. Osyth Beach, a real fun day out for all the family. JAYWICK MARTELLO TOWER was built in the early nineteenth century to protect the coastline from French invasion. Today, it is open to the public as an arts, heritage and community space. The Tower hosts a varied programme of exhibitions and events.
