Designing Frames and Structures with Weldments
SOLIDWORKS weldments provides a powerful design methodology for creating structural frames made up of standard steel and aluminum sections. Layouts can be created using simple sketch geometry, populated with sections, and cut lists and manufacturing documentation is automatically generated. On top of that, if changes are made to sizing, shape, or if members are added or removed, the model and all documentation will update automatically. SOLIDWORKS Weldments is a simple methodology to solve what can easily become a complex design challenge.
