1963 RCA 4VF446 Stereo Console with Studiomatic changer
We've all heard those cliche's , patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait....well, I wanted to share something I've waited for a good while. The RP-218 Studiomatic Record Changer is what I consider about the most attractive record changer of this period. The cartridge floats under the tone arm, which actually rests on the record via a small felt pad up front. The cartridge in this actually went bad, so there is a non-stock EV-26 hidden under that tone arm. It works as well on here as it did on the Magnavox console I swiped it from. I hope you enjoy it. I did a full restore on this console so let me know if there are any questions and I'll try to help out.
