Critics Choice 8th Annual Celebration Of Black Cinema 2025

The Critics Choice Association presents the 8th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television, honoring outstanding achievements both on screen and behind the scenes across film and television. Hosted by Jay Pharoah -- this year’s honorees include Spike Lee (Career Achievement Award), David Alan Grier (Vanguard Award), Ryan Coogler (Director Award), Tessa Thompson, Sterling K. Brown, Jurnee Smollett, Janelle James, Damson Idris, Skye P. Marshall, Tenika Davis, Naya Desir-Johnson, and the ensemble of One Battle After Another. The evening also featured a special performance by Aiyana-Lee. The Celebration of Black Cinema & Television recognizes the extraordinary artists and storytellers shaping culture and pushing the industry forward.
